Thanks for understanding bud, anyone can simply remove the harness and tuck it away nicely with some zip ties.
That's what I did in the middle of no where after bending it.

I'm off to picking up the brackets.

Any one know the best place to get a new harness? I totally smashed mine.

Thanks for making the relocation bracket, just ordered.

Installed mine last night - failed to take pics- but seems like there are good ones already. Fit and finish were excellent - totally pleased with the results. Took literally 5 min.

Looks like you actually tow. Care to show an actual hookup with electrical using the rubber bungee wrap and hook points?

You are correct, I tug around an R-Pod from time to time to take my wife and daughter camping.
Our next trip won't be for a couple of weeks, but I will post pics when it happens.

Two well thought out things attracted me to this product:
    1. the direction that the plug lid is oriented (the way this open's up will make accessing it easier)
    2. the incorporated bungee cord holes (VERY good idea to keep my trailer harness protected)
    Thanks again @Andres !! :hattip:

...and a third thing that I thought was great: the anodized finish.
To have that included in the package deal with everything else definitely sealed the deal!!

I was discussing some points with Andres and pointed out how a stiff 7-pin cord would need to be redirected, because I tow a teardrop for the same reasons you do! plus the occasional utility trailer. I'm eager to see how the concept works.

sub'd definitely interested. I tore mine this past weekend while hitting some trails with some jeeps. I don't care much about color because it isn't seen, but would prefer black. I'm sticking with the storm trooper super white and black look. Any issues with the spare coming out and catching the wiring for the plug when relocated?

OP how does the plug attach to the bracket. Unfortunately, I broke the little plastic tabs on both sides that the original bracket bolts to. I don't know if there is a way to a new plastic piece, but I don't want to splice a new one into the old one. I could if i have two, but electrical isn't my forte.

Two 1/4-20 screws attach the plug to the bracket.
You'll need the two tabs with holes from the plug if you plan on using a bracket like this.
Do you have a picture of what it looks like?
