Warranty real differential replacement

So I did search and couldn’t find all the results, so if I’m asking in error don’t blow me up too bad. I did a search for a rear differential whine and found there is a TSB on it. Took my truck to the dealer and they agreed the rear differential needs to be replace. 57k on the truck and just under the time so factory warranty pays for everything. So the questions is, is the factory locking differential from an off-road model an easy swap with the differential in my Sport? If someone has done the swap is it just the differential needed and a switch needed, or is it much more involved? Thank you in advance for your assistance and responses.
