    Tim,
What pinion angle do you recommend? Guys on the web say set the drive line and pinion flange to parallel and then rotate the axle down two degrees. Is that what you generally do? Also is this done at ride height or? Thanks in advance.

    From Tim

"That is pretty close to the way we do it, but no matter how you set it up, I recommend tacking the axle perches on really good (6 points each) and taking it for a little drive up and down the street to make sure there are no driveline vibrations. Just be sure that your u-bolts are good and tight and resist the urge to jump on it hard or you could spin the axle in the perches and break your driveshaft.

If you want to give me a call, I can walk you through the correct method for setting up pinion angle, but it is quite a long novel for me to type here considering how slow I type! lol"

    Thanks,

    Tim

We recently swapped a Dmz Sua in a 2015 Taco. We measured pinion at original position, then just reproduced it in the new kit. We tacked and cycled the axle with 1 leaf, checking plunge and angle. All was well so we buzzed it. No issues so far.
