Totally - and now I've been bitten by the damn 'lets put patches on the headliner' bug. :spending:

Those little purchases add up. Let's see - patches, floor mats, ditch lights with rago brackets/4Runner OE switch, 4Runner HVAC Control unit swap to deep six the orange lights, rack and sway bushings, inner/outer ties/alignment... all done in the last couple of weeks. oh and i cant forget the suspension update on the horizon as soon as I can finalize what to go with. Right now leaning toward the 881 OME kit from headstrong but still researching.

    :help:, im addicted. hahaha

Past couple weeks? Hmm. I’m waiting for my front and rear Icons to get in the mail. Still have to weld my Relentless Fab bumper and sliders together.

all about finding the time to finish the projects... hell, just today I picked up the hardware to give this a shot - https://expeditionportal.com/forum/...mounting-option-for-roof-rack-on-shell.61639/
Doesn't work, most likely will put the Yakima basket and crossbars up on CL. Had them for some time, used the basket once - just not happy with how high it sits. Tracks were on the shell when I found it on CL. Should've went with Prinsu.

Oh well. Sorry op, didn't mean to :threadjacked:

I wouldn't buy either of those at those prices. Truck B sounds like it needs a LOT of work. Truck A is better, but valve cover gaskets aren't a small job and if they are leaking, they need to be done asap.

Not worth. Those sellers are dickbags.

VCG job isn't something that has me running in terror. I'm skilled enough to complete it in 2-3 hours and I'll have the peace of mind knowing all the top end gaskets and o rings have been replaced.

Truck B was just delusional - Thought a gen 1 with 100k would pull 11+ because of what it is, regardless of care. Truck A had a lot of pride dumped into his truck and it showed. Having spent all week meticulously going through every TW sale and tons of craigslists ads from various states, I'm not unhappy with the price I paid.

FWIW You guys saying TW is the most expensive free membership you've ever had. I'm already getting that feeling. Spent all night looking at cool shit I can do to the truck. I'll keep the 4x4 conversion in the trick bag once I've had the thing for a while and I'm a bit more comfortable with it. First order of business is getting those wheels changed out to stocks.
