... at my job all the civilians are subject to random drug tests, but mainly the only ones who get pulled for it regular are the equipment operators (drivers). Buddy I carpool with had to go back twice recently. Once because his specimen was "too clear" and a second second time because his specimen was too cool. I guess when they don't watch it go in the cup like they do on active duty folk, they have to weed out the cheaters.

Did I say inane banter? Sorry, I was in a dark place.

 

No prob....we speak banter of all sorts and dialects.

 

When I ran the Command Post at Mildenhall, our callsign was Banter Control. At the Wing Christmas party one year the Ops Group Commander introduced me to his wife as Command Post Superintendant, she instantly said “oh, the banter people.” Back then the wing leadership carried LMR “bricks” the way everyone carries smartphones now.

Currently at 0806 hrs it's 65° , clear skies and high temp expected to reach 86° today

Heading to the car stereo store today to do some upgrades to the stereo in my truck . Going to get larger amps for the subwoofer and for the mids /highs . This should give me a much cleaner sound and get rid of the muddy sound from the subwoofer

I'm also going to replace the pioneer speakers in the doors with higher end speakers , can't wait to here it

morning all. couple of things: 1. ins man came out this morning with a roofer-$1000 for a new roof!!. fingers crossed for the add on -ons. 2. how do i remove this fitting from the housing? just wanted to see how it fits and works. nevermind. got it. it does break when you take it out though. no biggie

 

Has anyone noticed when the words "with all due respect" , "respectfully sir/man" nothing that follows is usually respectful in any way ..lol kind of like the "not to be a dick/ass but" is usually followed by a dick or and ass statement..lol
