I've never used JB weld yet... might be time lol I want to make it the good way so the surround don't fall off while driving and then I am forced to put the chrome on back on

On a side not, aren't those body side molding an old trend?:boink: my father used to put them on every car he was painting :rofl:Its good against door dins haha

    Craig,
Before I found your thread I called and spoke to Matt. He sounded like a super decent guy without any hidden agendas. I appreciate that a lot in vendors.
Between you, me and the fence post though, I was never a fan of that glue process either. However, I know it is a way to mount them. I just wanted to point out that option.

Not kissing any ass either but you know I have promoted your grills since the day I saw them, and I am still promoting them and tagging you in posts. A little my way of :boink: you
to make my grill. :D I'm still patiently waiting and still a fan, and now that you say there will be a no glue way of adhering the mesh to the bezel and/or an entire new attached bezel that's part of the mesh I am even more eager to see what you're coming up with!

All along I have been a little upset I jumped the gun with the Devil Horns on Fire emblem but I have decided when the time comes to go with the Ghost version if available with the Tacoma text pressed outward to mimic/flow with the tailgate text pressed inward, and I will just mount my Devil Horns emblem in the lower right hand corner and tilt it a bit.

Oh, and don't forget the lower grill mesh too for the 3rd gens. And while your're at it, might as well do a Sport Scoop mesh panel.

Yea, LOL, I am also likely old enough to be your dad. Actually, the doors on this car are like billboards there is so much surface area. They bow outward and aren't protected by anything. I also park in a public garage at work. Then there the whole "people just don't give a F@CK anymore" aspect. To be honest, I think they added some much needed lines to the car.

I agree that those body side molding look good on the car. Great shape and color match. the one I am used to see were just flat, square and black with that chrome lip

Blackout. If you were to get someone to make solar panels the exact size of the top of a plano all weather case I am willing to bet you would sell a few!!

I know right! That is what I wanted to put on there, especially being as old as I am, or something even cooler like this

but the wife kicked me in the ass, then called me a dumb ass and said Veto.

    Just kidding.

But if you have a Taco, apparently then the skies the limit!

I was just thinking that earlier! Dual planos with dual solar. Would be awesome. Only downside is you'll be even taller and parking garages even harder to fit in.

You don't have brackets welded inside the bumper?

Anyone know of 3 degree axle shims designed to be held together by u bolts instead of bolted through the leaf pack?

That'd be a heck of an upgrade if I went from welding in my basement to welding in a full on shop! No, that's @Mobtown Offroad shop and one of his workers finishing the hoops.

Y’all let me know how hard these solar panels are to get going. Been wanting some for a while to have a power source when camping! So take a ton of pics on the installs! :D

From what I understand it's super easy. 2 wires from panel into solar controller, and another 2 wires from controller to battery. Boom.

I do! I have a demello, but all my other armor is mobtown. Since I'm a mobtown ambassador and have their name on the side of my truck, it's only fitting to have one of their front bumpers too. So I'm selling my old one and putting on this new one
