I have a 2018 Trd sport with 1300 miles. It’s the first I have ever own. I am getting a hesitation shudder going through the gears I took it to the dealership they said the truck seems to be in normal operation. I have read a lot of threads about the tranny could it also be a fuel bank issue at times feels like it’s just not getting the fuel.

The fuel pump on these trucks suck, if you're mashing the gas you're going to hit the limit on how much the fuel pump can pump at higher rpms

It is just in the programming on these trucks that makes it feel that way. There are 2 fuel pumps, 1 regular in the tank and the other is a High Pressure Fuel Pump up on the engine, should provide plenty of fuel, high RPMs is where the powerband is so you need to adjust your driving style.

assuming you have a automatic drive it with ECT on for a few days see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the input it all makes sense. I switched from a 15 Silverado with the the adaptive learning transmission and had to have the torque converter and tranny replaced at 33000 I was just wanting to make sure this wasn’t the same issue I switched to Toyota for the longevity.
