Weekend after?

 

yessir, start before sunset anyhow. Like 7pm - 10pm or so. Thinking maybe Wednesday or Thursday night...I'll know better tomorrow but I'll let you know. I'm excited to hit some go-fast stretches; the speed bumps at work are brutal and with the AALs it felt like running right into a curb, feels way better with the Dakars. Can't wait to see how they feel going fast on the dirt.

That reminds me, I need to check the torque on my u-bolts before then so I don't end up like that one guy

Then my coworker calls me and tells me the Johnson Valley poker run is this weekend

 

If I can make it Thursday is probably better for me.

 

I'm free on drinko de mayo (5th). Need this weekend to look the truck over once.

It's looking promising for me, want to go ahead and plan on meeting @ Rowher at 7pm Thursday? Thinking the main entrance so I can hit the main road and test out the rear end while it's still light out.

After Johnson valley race track whoops, I had to add a plate. Mine is from slamming into my bumps. Jv always breaks something on my truck.

My lighting game will be weak tomorrow night...but I did just buy a set of new lights to replace the 2 halogens I currently have. Won't be here till next week though.

@dtaco06 you'll be glad to know I also picked up a couple of amber pods to run in the back so we don't have a near collision next time like we did in Mojave haha.

 

I got a 24" spot double row light bar if you got a place for it. Paid $100 selling for $20.needs mounting brackets.

yeah I was wondering if the roof rack or the bottom of the bed rack over the tailgate would be better....bottom of the bed rack is closer to the back of the truck but more likely to be obscured by thick clouds of dirt

 

Night runs are freaken awesome, until you come up fast on someone who does not have any dust lights.

 

If I make it tomorrow I have a feeling im gonna be on point since im rocking my light game right now.
