Exhaust Back pressure Issue?

    6" Fabtech Suspension liftkit on 35x12.50 Dick Cepek Mud Country tires on 17" DC1's, Afermarket tinted windows, Volant Cold Air Intake.
    Wondering if anyone knew if the 4.0 V6 Tacomas had a problem with back pressure if u left off the Catalyc Convertor :confused:. Thinking about going with DT long tube headers, true duel exhaust with a pair of flowmaster 40's :D. Any feedback appreciated, thnx.

    youll gain a little bit of back pressure with the flowmaster cuz of the baffleness, but thats about it

    westin bull bar, tube steps, BFG MT, silver ceramic coated JBA shortys, tru dual flowmaster 40series with magnaflow tips, 77series K&N intake, allpine head unit, 10" type R sub, 500w/4 amp
    i have that exact same set up but we have been thinking about moving so i went with the JBA silver ceramic headers, left the cats and did true duals from the cats back witth 2 40series.............sounds awsome

    Nope, what you'll do by removing that backpressure is move some low-end torque to mid-high rpm hp.

    When it comes to towing and hauling that low end torque is needed but for racing you want that mid-high end hp.
