I have a 2018 Tracker Targa V18 Combo boat (19.5' long, trailered about 25'), would say it weighs about 3800 lbs loaded. Pulled it with my truck and was getting like 16mpg in town (speed was between 0-50 mph). Have a steep boat launch and it yanked the boat out with no issues.

I like the side intakes on the next generation Cayman/ Boxster. They are twice the size.

I've only towed it a couple of times as I traded my '16 SR5 A/T for my '17 M/T in November. It averaged 13.5 on my trips to the local lake from home and that is pretty hilly. (and it wan't broken it yet) The A/T I think was more like 14.5. My usual daily commute averages 17.5 with some hills and half of it is 75 mph on the interstate.

It’s not fun. The trailer brakes help a ton.

My brother has a 2018 Malibu 23 LSV.. 4500 dry before trailer and junk. I know I'll end up towing it back from the lake time to time. Will my 18 handle it ok? It's a beast. He had a 21 for the last couple years and it was heavy for my 2nd gen.

Look a few pictures up. I tow my 2016 Mastercraft X30 with my 17. Not ideal, but it works. 4500 before trailer and junk is probably more like 65-6700 after trailer gas and stuff.

That's what I'm thinking. Its 400lbs just in fuel.
We're in the mountains, so it's probably going to be a bear to pull. I won't take it often, but there's just times when I'll have to. I'll report back.

Oh mountains? Hell no. Lol. I use the 6.7 powerstroke for anything longer than the ramp and back until my dock is done.

I'm getting one of these when my wife dies. She won't let me get a boat and I need her parking spot in the garage to store it.

    Lots of sail boat fuel
This biggest thing I find toying with Tacomas is the dymanic load factor. And already soft rear and
    So there's only one question.
