    Hi Mountain Road is finally opened back up after being closed for who knows how long due to the drought, fire risk and whatever else. Started off at around 3:30pm and made it to the the Hi Mountain campground around 4:30pm. Its not a very long trail, but it's definitely worth checking out if you've never been. There trail goes longer than what we did but we didn't prepare for a night run or properly equipped. Here are some photos from that day!

    This is shortly after the actual trail had started. There were quite a few creek crossing (not very deep) a total of about 10

    This is were the "county maintained" road ends. Sadly, don't have many photos after this is does get kinda rocky and a little sketchy. Hands were at 10 & 2 !

    Thanks for checking this out! First trip report so if you guys have any suggestions on how to make the next one better (more details, photos, etc.) i'd love some feedback.

    Nice...I may try and get up there this weekend. Only suggestion would be add a dash camera to document the "10 & 2" sections of the road.

    I have a gopro i just forgot to bring it unfortunately. Have fun up there though its a fun little trip. Would love to actually camp out there
