May be your tires. Some people seem to not get as good once they break 32”...like it’s a magic number or something. The 91 tune definitely gets better mpgs

Turbos! While cool is probably going to have a much smaller audience....I'm guessing major development is over for the NA engine since he has nothing to test with unless he has a steady stream of volunteer vehicles.

I have traded my tacoma in a full size truck. (Need heavy towing capability now). I am a big fan of OVTUNE and Matt. The tune really changed my truck in in great way! That said I would like to sell my OVtune dongle/tune kit. I contacted Matt and asked him about selling it and his recomendations. He said a second "tune file" would cost the buyer 325.00. and 400.00 would be fair for the kit. I was thinking more like 350.00. Wish I could have got in at that price. If interested contact me at msnyder1957@gmail.com. Pay pal will work.
These are great trucks after Matt works his magic! Thanks Max

So datalogs won’t be exclusive software? It’ll be techstream data sent to you?

I am still working on my logger, but during the wait techstream works good

Probably a couple horsepower over what we have seen. The bottleneck is the complete exhaust all the way from the head, so if you did the down tubes + full exhaust you'd pick up the most.

So understanding your logger isn't quite ready yet, what I'm understanding is this would be a way to easily import the techstream log files (likely similar structure as the MT guys did for their logging) and it will consume the data in a way that's easier to interpret esp. for any areas that could be concerning in terms of ignition/AFRs?

One thing I'm interested in seeing - I haven't had time to do another techstream log as of yet, but from my OBD fusion app I do see that it seems to want to hover around 14.7:1-14.8:1 when sitting at idle (say in traffic or at a stop light) which I'm sure could contribute to the improved city driving MPGs we've been seeing. That said, my engine oil temps are still sitting about the same (202ish sitting/idling; lower when moving) so I'm not seeing any heat indications of leanness.

    runs awesome. that's certain. :)

@OVTune, do you require M/T testers for the new file prior to general release on May 1 (as you did with 1.04 A/T)?

Put 91 in your tank and run 87 for a few tank fill ups. If you're not impressed go to 91
