This is the lift I was talking about. It has paid for itself at my dad's shop and we are able to move it around with the caster kit it comes with.
My tacoma would barely fit on it, may look into see if they have a wide option.

I have nowhere to rant, so I'm ranting here. For some lulz & hatred towards everyone.

Today's rant: I hate "Overlanders"

This gentleman hits me up on the expedition portal, inquiring about a pair of Thule crossbars, said "let's meet up today, I'm fine with the price you listed". Get to the meeting location, an older dude in a 1st gen tacoma with arb bumper rolls up, I take out the cross bars and he's like "nope put them back in". What??!? His response was due to a little bit of surface rust on the bars (which you can see in the photos I listed) and the missing end caps (which I clearly said in my listing). Starting to get aggravated, I say "seriously, I listed all the info online, you made me drive out here, and you're saying you don't want these cause of some end caps??? How much are end caps, I'll buy them for you". They were $15. Come on bruh.

Then the real F'ed up stuff started to happen. This guy walks around my rig, doesn't point out anything he likes, points out all the things he dislikes and then starts to bad mouth all these companies that aren't ARB. F your ARB, and F you! "Why do you have rust here, why do you have a dent here, why are your sliders scuffed up?" Cause I wheel my rig, I don't just drive down a dirt road and then have a 10 course candle lit dinner for 1. "You should really get an ARB, their powdercoating is made with this *%$%#$#%#$% mathematical process and won't rust or chip, I never understood small companies and their lack of attention to detail". Good for you dude, I don't like bumpers that look like a mini apartment complex on the front of my car. (Sorry for anyone that has an ARB, they do look good on certain rigs)

Sorry if you're into overlanding, I understand not everyone is like this. Let's just wheel/camp/drink good beer and be friends. /RANT.

Since I moved to the T4R, the thought of putting my roof tent up there, isnt high on my priority list. Plus, bringing the dogs, and the other half would require more room. Her and I were thinking it might be easier for use to use an awning room attached underneath an ARB 2000 series. Plus, itll be easier on fuel.

So, Im considering selling my ARB Simpson 3 with annex underneath for $1300.

I also have a set of Front Runner bed bars for the Tacoma that I need to sell as well. Asking $150 for them.


What are the thoughts on price?

 

If any 2nd Gen guys are looking for some bolt-on sliders. I came across a set down in the Springfield, MO area for $250. They are bolt on Demello Offroad sliders no kickout. I was looking to pick them up for my brother’s 3rd Gen, but after speaking with Jason Demello, he stated the frames are nearly the same but they made changes and they wouldn’t work and bolt on right up.
