Nice. I'm going to have a pretty damn small lawn in my back yard and will probably just get an older mower from a garage sale. Battery technology is just going to keep getting better though. Years ago when I was flying electric RC airplanes I was amazed with the power I got with Lipo batteries and brushless motors. As long as you didn't puncture the batteries, then they vent flames.

Hedge trimmers and weedeater and stuff I'll be looking at electric. Been eyeing all the DeWalt 20V Max tools.

Isn't your "friend" using a gas powered generator to charge his car in that pic? And mind you hes parked on the side of the road, which means, more then likely he ran out of fuel...er power...amps?

Saw a sign for new construction on 85th in Greenwood today. 4 story apartment building, 0 parking spots, 23 small efficiency units and 1 apartment unit. Can you still call it an apartment building then? And this new bullshit law about new buildings not needing to have parking spots is fucking ludicrous.

You can borrow my mower man. I only have roughly 200 sq ft green patch for a front lawn and its 85% moss.

Can you get rid of it or do you have an HOA? I got rid of ALL of my grass front and back by terracing my front yard and putting in bark/plants. My backyard I put in a paver patio and a garden. Ironically, I'll be turning my vegetable garden back into grass (via sod) soon since we're selling.

HOA, but they are really laid back about little things. The only rule i have found is if you take out a tree or plant you "have to" have "plan" to replant. Other than that the wife is still figuring out what she wants to do. I do what she tells me to and she lets me buy thing i don't really need.

Can you imagine getting rear-ended by that dude and having a Hi-Lift hit your car going 30 mph? I always thing about those Jeep guys with a hi-lift on their hood getting hit from the back and it going through their windshield at chest-level.

you have to have a plan AND re-plant? or just have a plan and not follow through?
