C4 sliders, TRD CAI, Spod source LT, CBI covert, 6112/5160's, OME heavy leafs, Wheeler's super bumps with flip kit, RCI engine skid, R4T lower control arm skids, SOS Concepts gas tank skid, Rago bed stiffeners, 255/85/16 ST Maxx, MESO stuff, AJT stuff, Martin cab rack, rough country 40" single row bar, Rigid 30" SAE light bar, SDHQ ditch brackets, Rigid SR-M ditch lights with amber covers, AVS hood thingy and door thingys, Bulletpoint phone and tablet mount, Taco Vinyl raptor lights, Tacoma Lifestyle sequential turn signals, Tufskinz door sill protectors, and a few other knick knacks.
I'm keeping the stock wheels because I like them. I went with 265/75/16 Cooper STT PRO tires. I have a few places near me that will put on the lift.

Only reason I got $1000 off MSRP is because my girls' cousin owns a dealership :headbang:

    Yeah.
Local dealer got a Pro in, and on a whim I offered $3K under MSRP. To both my surprise and the sales guy, the manager agreed to it. They were a little lower on my trade than I wanted, but fair, and I expected them to counter a bit higher. Merry xmas to me! I probably would have done it for $2K under MSRP, but beyond that I would have been looking for a deal on an Off Road. The 2017 models are being discounted a bit now that 2018's are showing up.

I would be fine with an Off Road, but the Fox suspension is nice, and there are a lot of other nice little goodies as well (interior, bed lights, exhaust, heated seats, dual zone climate control, etc.) I would agree that the difference in MSRP doesn't make a lot of sense, but assuming you won't pay MSRP for either, the price difference should get a bit smaller, and it's a pretty good value considering -- it just depends on whether you actually care about ALL, or at least most of, the differences. To me, most of them made sense.

Here they take the Sports and put a spacer lift on them, put on XD wheels and bigger tires and sell them for what I paid for the Pro. It may look cool, but the Pro is the better value.

Yawn... Whatever. I'll agree that if you paid over msrp for a Pro you should have looked elsewhere, but the haters on the trim? I'm not sure I understand the concern about how someone else spent their money, or why it's necessary. Or is this the high school section of TW?

It's a strange point of contention. This is a damn forum essentially dedicated to wasting money; yet, people will split hairs over somebody paying a few extra grand for a different trim. I'm not sure if I'll ever understand it.

Funny! I was reading this and thinking to myself "Steve Landers Toyota does this" (Sports with cheap space lifts). Then I saw your location. Small world.

LOL, yep. They are nice looking trucks, although you see more of the Tundras that the do the same with around here.
