    Hey all!

I’m looking to get an air bag spiral cable clock spring part# 84306-0E010. Most dealerships charge $220+, including camelback and toyotapartsdeal.com. But there are sellers on e-bay selling what they call OEM for as low as $67.

Usually I live under the policy: if is sounds too good to be true, it is. But the pics look like the exact same parts and the pics show the Toyota/lexus boxes with the Toyota/lexus label and all. I’ve even contacted some of them and asked “Is this true OEM, genuine Toyota? The exact same I would get at the dealership?” and they say yes.

One of these people who is selling one for $126 I’ve bought from before and has supplied me with genuine OEM parts at a great price. But the $126 ad vs the $67 ad look identical. So shouldn’t I just save the money?

Anyone with experience from a similar scenario, good or especially bad, would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve seen comparisons made on other forums showing spoofed OEM parts that had official-looking labels/part number on them and everything but they weren’t OEM a parts when putting the 2 side by side and looking at fine details. The Chinese factories can replicate anything. Just look at the TRD Pro knockoff grilles.

I’d be extremely hesitant getting OEM parts off eBay that aren’t sold by a Toyota dealer or reputable Toyota parts site.

Yeah.... It's probably too good to be true.

As for the one I found for $126, this guy : http://www.asianautosllc.com he has a new store, locally in Glendale, AZ. I found him on ebay, but if you want to order off of him its best to either email or call him. Good prices, often way less overhead than most stealerships and he ships super fast. I think he delivers to the Phoenix metro area. So I want to throw him a shout out to help get his business rolling.
