    Cool writte up bud. I'll defiantly throw this onto my priority list. I've been running at 203-205 range and been looking for a solution. Of corse a new thermostat will be added too. Thanks again for sharing bud. :thumbsup:

    Hmm I'm putting this in now and had to order the gates 22120 hose. It is way to big to fit. The S bend is too far apart I need something smaller as the two ends are closer together. Plus it's a total bitch trying to get the hose on as its smaller.

    You just need to make a few cuts on both ends to make it fit, it is a pain yes but it will work just right.

    Yeah I got. Guess I need to get hose clamps. Can't get the compression clamps to fit on the radiator

    I got the compression clamps on but they were tough, next time if there is a next time will get screw type, I didn’t want to dive to the parts store for new clamps
    and waste 60 minutes so I spent 10 minutes fighting to get the compression ones to fit and I WON
    Used vise grips and locked down on the clamp tabs

    Compression clamps are far better if you can make it work

    I had no issues with the compression clamps on the oem parts. On the champion radiator there is no way they are going on.

    I just finished this install. The radiator is almost even with the frame rails just slightly above. Nice gain in clearance.

    You can see from the previous photos that the radiator sits in the frame now a few inches above the bottom of the frame.
    So if you have an automatic you can get the skid plate that is used on the 5 speed that DOES NOT stick
    down the additional 2”.

    This might be a noob question but it looks like the fan shroud cannot be removed without removing the radiator correct? Or am I not seeing or missing something?

    Yup your missing something,
    You install the radiator first then you install the lower radiator hose because it’s a pain to do and then you install the shroud
