    Okay,

Can anyone tell me the best place to pick up one of the fake Pro Grills for a 2017 Tacoma?

I got mine a while back from Bayson R and its been great so far, no problems. However, I have a good friend that wants to get one as well. I know there have been some other places bringing them in and such, just not up-to-date on where the best one can be had?

    Thanks

Best or cheapest? $30 bid from China. Should go for under $100.

    Or

But it now just over $100.

LOL......well good question. I know back when i got mine there were supposedly two different ones out there. One made in China and the other one was made in Taiwan. To be honest, I dont remember which one mine was. But, I have a feeling they might all be about the same quality. I just dont want to recommend one to a buddy and once he gets it........its a POS.

Maybe someone will chime in that has purchased one of the ones you posted the link too.

I went with one on Ebay, it was $119 shipped. There is a thread/review of an install on here and he provided the link to the one he bought. After reading his review and checking out the quality in his pictures, I was sold.

Follow up question. Will all of the stock grilles be removed the same way? I have the grill with the horizontal metal bars and want to make sure that this is correct before I go and order something.

    Fake?!?!?! blasphemy.

I believe "replica" is the preferred nomenclature.

I got mine from Yan-Linm. The seller was really awesome. I originally had ordered the 2 piece one, he asked to confirm that my application was NOT a 2018, because the 2 piece one will not work with the garnish. I informed him it was for a 2018, which meant I actually needed the one with the separate letters. Once that was all sorted, the grille arrived in about a week, really well packaged, and honestly very good quality. It fit perfectly and mated up with the 2018 radar garnish as well. Couldn't be happier, especially since Toyota has decided they will no longer sell these to non-pro owners.
