Battle Royale Games

anybody have predictions for this meteor? I know I'm ready for season 4.

 

Sounds like a new game mode.. from what I've read.

the "Save the World" game mode (campaign PVE) is being rumored to be released. It's supposed to become free in 2018 per Epic.

 

I have seen a couple, wasn't actually sure if they are real.

 

So the main meteor hit Dusty Depot. Also north of Tomato Town there's now a crater and a drive-in movie theater called Risky Reels I think. There's also a new mansion near the dirt track and a nuke silo near Snobby Shores.

Really liking the map changes. Did any of you guys get to play last night?

 

I played for like 4 hours. SUCKED. IT. UP. seriously...no W's last night it was bad. plenty of kills just couldn't finish.

the new map stuff is fun, tons of new somewhat secret areas affected too. like a hidden area underneath Salty Springs.

 

Fun times last night. Learned that when using the lil purple orbs you don’t suffer fall damage. Super fun

 

Dude we had no idea about the area under Salty. We went into that house and spent like 2-3 minutes trying to find out where we were hearing footsteps and building. Turned out 2 guys had dug their way into that basement and barricaded themselves behind about 4 layers of walls. It was hilarious.

Got 1 solo win last night, but man it seems like the Pros came out in full force for the new season. I got outplayed A LOT by people far better than me.

 

yeah those are tons of fun, hard to get used to it in combat.

 

SAME. I don't consider myself a pro, but for season 3 I was winning about 20% of my matches. Couldn't get anything done last night.

Like 9 times out of 10 I always lose to a build battle. Once they build above me I lose where they are and get shotgun blasted.

In all honesty I wish they would tone down the shotguns just a bit so they weren't the only thing people use at close range, but if they did that it would change the feel of the game entirely. I'm just glad they removed that guided rocket. That thing was crazy overpowered.

 

I hear that, PLEASE tone down the shotguns. No kidding (I can find the replay if needed) I headshot a guy last night with the Heavy Shotgun (the RANGED ONE) and he headshot me with the Pump, we were about 3 building pieces away from each other. Who won? him. makes sense...

I love build battles though. seriously love the builder pro controller layout.

 

I suck at build battles, with that said, that’s why I typically play 99% of the time in squads. My buddies are usually the ones attacking and building and I’m the one with the rockets/grenades because I can just stay back a bit and launch them keeping the enemy occupied. I do try to build up and stuff every now and then especially since lastnight it came down to 1 last guy that took out my 3 buddies and it came to 1v1, and of course I lost due to building

 

This game is definitely a build first, fight second game. It's interesting.
