I have a 1996 Tacoma 2.7. On warm days, lets say above 78 degrees, after I drive a while and let the truck set for more than 5 minutes, she won't start. Sometimes I have to wait up to 30 minutes before she will start.
My understanding is if it were the coil, it would stop running when it got hot, whether or not I was driving.
    Thank you in advanced

Welcome! Is it throwing any codes? Check engine light on?

You should post your question in the 1st gen section. It will get more views there, and hopefully more knowledgeable people will be able to help you out.
