I do have two questions though. I just bought a 2007 Tacoma Access Cab, I4, 2Wheel Drive, Standard Trans (Gas Mileage minded). I love my truck, has the SR5, put a nice hitch and tonneau cover on it too. Will post pics when I take some. My first question is about the rear doors. The plastic latch sticks on both sides and will not open until I push it in and it clicks out all the way. At first I thought it was child safety locks but it doesn't happen all the time. My second question: I have the factory radio installed (no changer just plain jane) but I want to add an MP3 input as we listen to MP3's and Laptop Audio for movies on long trips. I saw two devices DFTOY and PA12-TOY. I like the cheaper DFTOY (69.00) as I don't plan on buying an iPod. Can I use this on the model radio I have and does anyone have an advice/recomendations. I installed many many stereo systems in my day but for now I just want to add some MP3 action without cheesing it up with an FM transmitter style. Thanks for any advice.

welcome to tw, john!! not sure on the mp3 deal(im still in the old world of cd's:D), but as far as the latches sticking, maybe take off the plate or access cover and spray some type of moly lube in there, should fix you right up!

I'll give it a try. I didn't want to do anything with it if there was a tech bulletin on it.

    Welcome to TW, Johnz!

I don't know what to tell you about the USASpec AUX inputs, but the doors are another story. When I got my truck (same truck - just a PreRunner), I had put some weight in the box before it latched properly. Apparently, they were bent in a bit from manufacturing, and the weight helped straighten them out. May not be the same issues, but it's just a thought.
