I know, cuz those are hollowed out for hybrid implementation ... would be a waste of Ti to do so!

I just like a Ti post every now and again lol

@melloweyelids has dibs on the one delrin MT knob I am making, but if he decides that he wants something heavier you can jump in. I never really got a confirmation, but I'm making it anyway.

If you make it with the stainless steel core, I will take it! Thanks for the reminder, kinda dropped the ball on this a bit. Would like the 6MT pattern on top.

    Sounds good.

With that said, I just ordered a 6ft bar of 2.5" diameter black delrin. We should be covered for a while.

I like the humor, but that's going to be a hell no on that engraving.
Pm me when the new delrin comes in, ill take one with a SS core 6mt pattern and trd on the side.

Also, for the AT guys who haven't been following along ... I am kinda in limbo on that until I get the chrome retainer.

I made changes to the original design, but I really want to avoid sending prototype after prototype while depending on others to check fitment. Then, they have to convey information to me. Finally, with that information I have to translate that into more changes. There are way too many variables out of my control this way, so hopefully I can get one in hand. If that avenue doesn't work out, there is a forum member who offered to meet up so I can at least check the most current design, and even take a few measurements.

Trying to buy the part from Toyota was a mess, so I gave up on that for now. Who knows, I may end up buying that $300 assembly if I get annoyed enough. Either way, i'll get what i need.

Oh boy, I'm guessing I never sent you the above fitment information(which includes usage of anti seize lubricant)

From now on,I guess a printed copy will go out.

Yep, no worries, if you can, spray some PB blaster in there, it will definitely help me get it off.

Anyone looking to coat this in the future should definitely mask the threads. Unfortunately, @orangeracer had to find this out the hard way.

It’s weird cause I have never had to not mask threads on anything else I’ve had cerakoted, including some insanely tight tolerance pieces. I really hope I don’t end up having to cut this thing...
