I have a big can of fluid film to put on my Kings before install. One thing I haven't found is any mention of whether coating the shafts as well as the shock body is OK. How badly am I overthinking this?

    ...too much shit to list.
Seal cap has a wiper. Won't make any difference just like oils, grease, water, etc from the roadway. Coating the shaft would just be a waste of product.

    Thanks @Ripcord and @jberry813

I figured the wiper seal would take care of everything like on my bikes, but wasn't 100%
