    Get the properly sized injectors, so that you don't run into atomization issues.

    Do a search online. I have heard horror stories and seen some jacked up close up shots of modified injectors.

    I think it's time for someone to cut the bend off of the TRD supercharger, well the flange on, and put that large throttle body on there.

    The far back bend or the front one? I wonder how similar or different the nose is between the M90 and MP90. Should be very easy to do either way, would the gains be worth the work?

    Any idea why a boost gauge would suddenly start to work intermittently? After a wheeling trip last night, I got on the highway and noticed my boost gauge needle wasn't moving at all. Thought maybe the vacuum line got knocked loose but about 20 minutes later it started working again. Checked the line when I got home and it's connected to the port still. This morning it was working fine on my way to work, but on my way to lunch I noticed it having a delay in reacting to boost, normally it moves instantaneously.

    It's an analogue TRD gauge, if that matters. It's at least 10 years old but I've never had any issues with it until last night.

    pardon my ignorance, but I assume that's within the gauge yes? I guess that's better than it being a more serious issue, boost gauges aren't pricey. Sucks though because it's a genuine TRD boost gauge :(

    I guess on the bright side, now I can get an AEM boost gauge to match my AFR one.

    No need to pardon. :) We are all here to learn, even me. The stepper motor is within the gauge, yes. The only way to fix it is either replacing the gauge or taking it to a shop which knows how to repair stepper motor equipped gauges.

    In theory wouldn't moving the throttle body closer reduce torque? Might not be the route to take. If I ever had time I'd mirror polish the supercharger intake.

    I can't leave anything well enough alone
    plenum volume and length especially has way more to do with naturally aspirated tuning, where you are dealing with pulses coming off the closing intake valve and going backwards all the way to the air inlet. With a charger in the way, who knows what the impact will be. generally speaking, reduced restriction upstream is always good, but hard to determine where the restriction is at the vacuum levels and CFM and air velocity that the engine sees when running.
