Well, I guess you’re really earning it through increased population, traffic, etc. That’s also assuming you stay there. Because when you move, that equity is going to be absorbed in a way by another house that’s marked up 100k.

Well if we move we are moving away, somewhere with a lower cost of living, that’s when we will see that equity actually do something......

Also if we do move in Denver we will still have six figures in equity*

*if house prices stay consistent, or go up more

Hey guys, headed to St louis for a work gig. I usually stay at a family's place in denver as a half way point. They are out of town though.

Any one know a decent place i can park and open the tent to sleep?

Lol don't look up colfax... It's the equivalent of mlk blvd anywhere else.

Yankee Hill would be easy and should be snow free hand it's before you get to Denver off i70.

    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/502-yankee-hill-to-central-city

There's a bunch of trails in that area.

Or if you want to go a bit off the i70 route would be near Buena Vista.
    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/2354-fourmile-area-fourmile-ranch

This would be a good one near i70.

There's solid snowpack down to like 8k' here. Jones pass is still snowed in for sure.

thanks. Most that stuff looks a bit further south and west of where I want to be. Not looking to camp or offroad at all. Literally a stop n sleep situation. Just wouldn't mind something nicer than a walmart parking lot haha

As of this year, I've lived here more than everywhere else combined. I should also get credit for not moving TO Texas by choice (I was 10 YO at the time) and for GTFO as soon as I could.

Actually I set the bar too low. You have to demonstrate a special skill to be a junior native, like building a bumper from scratch, or telemarking...

Until then I’m just non-invasive at best.

What route are you taking through?

I doubt there's anything in the flat land other than a Walmart.. if they even allow it.
