Started on the corners for the rear bumper. These bases are pure beef (ie. 2x6 and 3/16"); going to add upward-angled tube for rub bars.

Yes I do for sure! I ran a small Case bucket/loader and cut a path through everything but one side last night (that part is going to take some work to get through as the neighbor has been dumping palms and random trees over the fence for years!) But I have a chainsaw so I can make a path through that with a little help however, so no worries there.

Been beyond busy with work so I havent gotten as far as I would like to by now. But I have the corners marked so I just need to run a stringline and mark the spots 10' O.C. and use my new auger to make some holes and plant the posts.

I sprained my L. wrist about 2 months ago (didnt think much of it) and now I have really bad carpal tunnel on my left arm/wrist, since started favoring it and using my right hand way more so now its its getting it too, pretty much because everything I tend to do generally requires what equates to a retard-strength grip

So in short, yes absolutely I do! I would be super pumped on any help I can get! I already have about 150' of poles ran that I need to hang the fence up on so far and another 100' of poles that are now a mistake after changing the plan of where the gate will be, oops! Hindsight is 20/20....o_O

If you are interested in it, I can make you a screaming deal on a DJM UCA kit for a Tacoma. I bought it lightly used about 10 years ago and never installed it, sold my 5 lug 1st gen a few years ago so I have no use for it.
Doesn't help with the bushings for the lowers (5lug parts are a PITA to search for on line) but it is something.
You can basically have it in exchange for future labor (I don't need anything right now but I am sure I could use a hand with something eventually). Would rather see it put to use then taking up space, I am trying to do some spring cleaning and pare down the hoard of toyota stuff.

Glad you were able to get past the issues with the code enforcement and crazy neighbor and are moving forward with your shop.
After starting the process on mine over a year ago, groundbreaking was 2 weeks ago. Foundations are being poured on Monday I can't wait...

Awesome, Yeah that would be great, I was looking to replace the uppers too, the popping sound is still there so The uppers are next on the list!
And your pad looks great! Looks like it happening now! Stoked for you!
I'm currently doing some dirt work and adding that perimeter fence, next up is some more concrete slab in front and behind he shop then Ill get the lifts put it as well as build my roof.

Sweet, thanks! Yeah quite a bit has changed, I've been working my ass off every chance I get as usual...I went out and got the first corner pole set yesterday afternoon and bought all the corner poles. Today my plan is to try and set as many poles as I can solo since I havent had anyone to help yet, starting with the other corners so I can set some string lines up to mark the holes.

And holy hell that posthole auger makes quick work of the holes!!! I love that thing!! Now that I own it I done have to worry about having to return it...

I can definitely use some help this weekend if anybody has time. Im probably going to be doing all this by myself, with my wife helping, but shes quite the trooper, lol. Ill be out there in a little bit after some food and digging holes.

I spent about an hour clearing all the Poison vines out from that area dressed like Indiana Jones trying to cover my entire body, lol. But got it all cleared away from where I need to work, those Poison Oak vines must have been 5+ years old! A couple of them were about 2" in diameter and going 30' up into the Oak Trees!!

I cant today but I can swing by and help tomorrow for a couple hours. Gonna try and clear half my garage today. Setting posts is a 2 person job. If you set your lines today and get the holes augered we can pull out the dirt and start setting posts tomorrow. You have concrete ret to go I assume?

Yes I’m planning on have the corners done, stringline, mark holes with paint.
I have about 15 poles so I’m gonna get more and a pallet of concrete today at some point.
I have about 10 bags of concrete on hand at the moment but I’ll get more.
Thanks for that bud, that would really help!

Likewise. I would love to check out your shop build too. Lemme see if I can dig that DJM kit out of storage (I last saw it a year or two ago) and we can meet up.

Basically this is what my shop is going to look like (had to teach myself Sketchup to do this).

Sweet, I'll give you a shout tomorrow (Sunday) and swing by at some point to pick it up. I can help you after work this week for sure. I get off at 4 and can be at your place by 4:30 so we'll have plenty of daylight.

So me and the wife measured, marked, drilled, and concreted all the front poles in and the corner where the gate will be. So I’ll need help stretching about 300’ of link.
    I have stretchers and a come-along.
