    ...greetings.

I've got the strong feeling pretty soon we'll not buying cars anymore, but soul-less transportation appliances. I already got a semi automated vehicle in the driveway ('17 XC 90), and with that experience, I've decided to go out and build my dream garage while I can still get my hands on real, honest, manual, no self-driving BS type of cars.
I've got the usual suspects covered (miata, wrangler), next up is taco, then MINI JCW, STI and done. Only requirement: manual only.

So with that said, I set out to get a PRO. Since manual is key requirement, it looks like a custom order is the only option. However, with the 12+ weeks lead time the dealer estimates, it gets close to the '19 model year I believe. So, few questions:

    - can a dealer order a '19 now ?
    - when does the next model year usually show up with toyota ? seems most companies make the cutover in the summer ?
    - blue PRO, or white PRO ?

    cheers !

It will be awhile before you can order a 2019, I doubt Smurf Blue will be available on the Pro for 19 but expect something else different.

I agree with your sentiment about getting good old fashioned petrol burners before they are no longer available.

I just wanted to suggest also looking at older models in good condition.

Just checked my local Craigslist and saw this :

    For what it's worth, cheers!

If the last year was anything to go on, you'll be able to order a 2019 Tacoma in January 2019.

I want someone here to jump on this! You can fly into Columbia and drive to Florence which is only a 45 min drive. Or you can fly into Charlotte and get a connecting flight into Florence very easy. I-95 and I-20 run through Florence so you'll be on your way soon as you sign the papers.
