Thanks to @Cagedodger for the idea!! Fabbed a deck to level out my access cab rear seat area. 3/4 inch plywood with speaker box liner around it. One tool box has some basic recovery gear, E tool, tow strap, hitch with shackle, tire repair kit, and a hatchet. The other has jumper cables, rapid tire deflator, some common wrenches, zip ties, misc. tools, etc. Now I can slide my cooler back there to foil the beer bandits! ;-)

Completed my First Oil and Filter Change with Toyota Oil and a TRD Filter. Wanted to change out the plastic Filter housing with the Toyota Aluminum one, but the Green O-Ring that came with the TRD filter didn’t cooperate with the Aluminum Housing when reinstalling it, but worked on the original plastic one. All set For another 6 months.

Badass looking Tacoma you have there !!!!!

I know that feel of not having a truck for a couple years....I remedied that years ago and will hopefully always have one in the driveway no matter what else may join it....hopefully something sporty....

Nicely done. Looks really good. Mighty useful !

    Total agreement.

Wanted a Diamondback but my wallet just wasn't thick enough, this was the next best option for me. Very happy with the purchase and the installation was a breeze!

Get home Friday and there was another Amazon box on the doorstep. Looks like I had some other items in my cart. I’ll now be stepping up my truck/car washing game as well:notsure:

Yes you need new bed rail caps. But you can swap out with the person that buys your trifold. Removal is about 30 minutes, be careful with the trifold hinges so they don’t break they are kinda fragile, do not twist or bend them back. There is a small one inch gap between the front and side rail after you remove the trifold at the top. I just filled it in with some black silicone seal to keep the water out.

Spontainiously took off from home late yesterday afternoon in search of a camping spot since the Ohio weather was deciding to be nice to us. We found ourselves driving through a woods and up a small creek to get out of the wind on a friends farm until we found a level spot next to a little water fall providing us with some nice sounds all night. We set up the Tepui for its maiden voyage around 7pm.
It rained a little during the night and temps dropped to around 43°F with some wind. We had the tent mostly sealed up. Woke up around 6am and packed up and headed back to town to get the lady friend to work before 9am.
The tent served us well. I’m getting good at setup and take down. Less than 5 minutes to setup and probably 8-10 to put away. The cover being the hardest part. We did incounter quite a bit of condensation in the tent in the morning. Mostly on the walls and ceiling. Nothing made it to the mattress floor.
Spent the day airing it out and drying it.
We will be camping in it for two weeks in June tracking around 6,000 miles in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana and connecting states.

Installed Caliraised 32 lightbar and added Morimoto led fogs. Really brightens up my SR. Wired it all up on Blue Sea fuse block on the Pelfrey shelf thing. Installed all my push switches from Ch4x4. And added a decal on the back. Too much work for one day, took 2 days and about 9 hours total time with all the electrical work and stuff.

Added @rrentrop QS decals because I still wish I could have gotten that color instead of black. I love it but I hate hand washing once a week. Kind of goes with the wheels anyway.
