If you are going with the Last Jedi plastered on the bed side shouldn’t the Millenium Falcon match with the square dish from the new movie rather than the circle dish from the original trilogy?

New TRDOR owner/member here, soaking up the sun in Colorado! First Taco, first new vehicle. Pretty damn pumped. Drove from fort collins to boulder to grab the inferno. Couldn't be happier. Cheers!

I finally got around to taking pictures of Beck with all of her accessories. Well, maybe I’ll add some light bars later. Then hopefully I’ll be able to build the camper shell that I in vision for her.

Installed my Prinsu AccessRack. It wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting. It’s just (12) 3/8” holes drilled in your roof. No big deal.

Hey guys. I am in the market for a inferno 4x4 sport. No extras needed. I have been checking out the prices people have been paying and saw some people paying around 33500$ (not inferno color). Has anyone been able to get the inferno for that price? I am just wondering due to the color if the dealer will say they cant do it just because of the color.

    Thanks.

Color should not matter. Try another dealer if so. Stand your ground! Options will certainly push the price higher. Tech Package, Sunroof, doo dads. All add money. Inferno is kind of hard to get depending on your location. However, I am seeing two, at least, at the dealer near me now and when I bought mine in June of last year they had a very hard time finding it. I would tell you what I paid but honestly, I forgot.

Color was definitely not a problem concerning any dealer shenanigans or "mark-ups".

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Toyota has "regions" that their dealers are part of. They send out an alotted amount of Tacomas to each dealer in that region so that it covers most of the typical options (including paint) that sells well in there. The dealers do have some say on what is alotted by coporate Toyota.

Beyond the trucks that go directly to the dealers, their is a regional wharehouse that holds some of the overflow trucks that may also have other options...including other colors of same builds. So even if you don't see the Inferno with your options sitting at your dealer, they might be able to see if it's close by at another dealer (dealer-to-dealer swap) or get it from the regional wharehouse. If that happens, it will require a couple extra days of waiting, but it's much better than having it shipped in from another region where they'll charge you car shipping fees.

It's WAY better than waiting 4-6 months for it to be ordered & custom built, but it also reduces the amount of customization that we can get directly from Toyota itself.

There’s two major Toyota groups, Southeast Toyota and Gulf States Toyota. All dealerships within each respective region are owned by one group. Beyond those two, all other Toyota dealers are independent. (Though some are part of larger groups that also sell other brands, none are controlled by a parent regional groups)

    Edit.

SE Toyota is the group that puts out the sub-sub model of TSS. They think it’s special or something but it’s just another combo package...
