Heads up, I contacted NuShield (nushield.com) who creates screen protectors for vehicle navigation screens. Requested they create a 2016 - 2017 Tacoma option since all they have currently is 2015. They responded saying the '15 fits the '16-'17 and to just buy one as its covered under the 100% money back guarantee. So, I did, should receive it in the next few days. I'm actually picking up my 2017 today from Manhattan Beach. Will report back on fitment once I have it in place.

I'm pretty sure all of us are referring to the gauge cluster cover.

I do appreciate the info though, I'll be ordering one now.

Ha, I totally missed that. Well, the nav screen seems more vulnerable given its location to passengers not as paranoid as us owners, but I can see the cluster being an issue too.

The head/nav unit doesn't scratched at all compared to the cluster screen.

So I emailed Zagg, got 4 emails back lol.
One from the general customer support saying how they have directed it elsewhere.
then the other 2 were someone telling me the same thing.

4th one was someone saying this is a great idea and they will look into it, as this is not the first time they have been asked about it.

Thank you so much for sharing. I had ordered a new cluster lens. It's so much easier to replace the lens.

Yes it is !!!! after popping out the dash trim, unscrew the four screws, then disconnect the odometer wiring. unscrew the 8-10 screws that's attached to the lens, then putting everything back together, LOL but it was all worth it. :bananadance:

I had a few scratches in mine and I used a damp old cotton Tshirt with plastic polish. I took it out and gave it a good polish and re cleared it with 2 coats of clear, wet sanded it and then a final coat. I then water rubbed it and its awesome. I think the clear coat is pretty scratch resistant. No issues now and I think resists the scratches as I use a cotton shirt and a little T wax express shine.

So anyone find a screen protector fit the cluster? I think that's the best option after reordering fresh.

Does anyone else have the same issue with the headlights? 10k miles and the headlights are so scratched too, just like the cluster. I’ve only hand washed it with all chemical guys stifff and waxed them, microfiber everything only. Rediculous.
