Morning friends! As noted by Buck', it's raining here. Quiet in the house right now - sleepyheads are still at it. We'll have a visit to the 'Man upstairs house' later this morning. Then who knows...

The projects keep piling up: the UCAs came during the week, an outdoor spigot is broken at my parents house, the brake pads came for my parents GLK350 which I have to put on. I'll try to do the brakes this afternoon. Oh, I need to get the mud off of the truck and wax it too. The guns I took to the range yesterday need to be cleaned. List just keeps on growing!

I just grab 4 cans and I have the wand.

Kidney has been hurting for a day now. Not sure what's going on. Never gets past that first pain level. It hurts when I cough so I am going with pulled muscle for now.

Architect called and is coming by tomorrow, says we will have the permits on Monday...lol

They are going to bring the new A.C. and hook it up outside and run lines in for now.

Luck will change and all is minor. I don't sweat the small stuff but writing it out and hearing that we all have issues...and its OK, is what helps.

My BIL has been using CDB to sleep, he ruptured 2 vert and is always in pain. It's the mellowing agent in the plant.

 

The sub-lingual stuff is supposed to work the best.

I did a TON of research on it as my Dad has Stage 4 prostate cancer, I sent him some hoping to help him out a bit.

 

Good morning, moving slow today. Spent an hour throwing for the dog and watching him run like a nut, he didn't want to quit. Guess it wore me out just watching and throwing for him. Rake. Blower. Leaves before the wind picks up. Nope, more coffee and ponder the situation.

 

Loftier goals for the day than I have. Just threw a pork shoulder in the crock, finish laundry and not a whole lot more than that.

 

Good as it would be a bit too much like a Prius lol their rear emblems light up don't they.

Woke up having a bad dream.

Packed the truck for a camping trip, parked it on the street while at a friends overnight. Truck got broken in to and stole all the camping gear. (all the gear we had recently bought since replacing it from the fire loss.)

Coffee flowing to try and shake this outta my head.

We have a couple rigs at work with all the tech in them. I find it interesting but don't really like it. I do like the cameras but don't like the path, hate the beepers. I added cameras to my work truck and they do make it nice. I still confirm what's behind the truck with the mirrors. But I have to put on my glasses to see the details in the camera screens. Other than that, I can live without the rest of it.

 

People need to be shot. I hate traveling anymore for fear of that shit right there.

Well done sir, and thank you! Hubs was NMCB 7 In Gulfport (amongst other places). One of our best friends recently retired from ACB1 at Little Creek.

 

He was in San Diego during Katrina. Retired 2007 and took a job in New Orleans that same year (reconstruction of the LSU Medical Center in downtown.). We lived in one house that didn’t have any flooding then moved across town to a house that was flooded by the 17th Sreet Canal levee failure. (Gutted to the studs and rebuilt).

 

They didn’t steal the whiskey did they?
