Yeah the access road could have been cleared a bit further but we got within a short walk. First tent picture was below the dam right on the creek and most likely where you park. The fishing was no good but we did see a couple jump so they’re in there. No doubt your kids would love it there! Boat ramp was closed but it didn’t stop one guy from launching and fishing. My neighbor seems to think they aren’t going to allow motorized boats on it again but I thought it was just for the drawdown

I heard the boat launch was already open. If it’s not then it’s a forest service thing because we’re done up there.

Good to hear! The forest service has kept all the signs up even up by Buchanan rd.

If any of you Sonora locals are stuck in town today, I'll be playing some music at the Spring Festival in front of Sonora Joe's. Stop by and say hello.

How’d it go? Totally missed it due to moving.

Saw the action while driving through though. Wish I would have seen your post this morning, I would have stopped

We’ve been trying to get together for some tacos with tacos for a while. Might need to set something up. Maybe in the coming weekends. As for trips I’m locked down to Sunday’s right now since the youngest has baseball until mid May.

It was a great afternoon. It is only the second time I have done a show since I had major surgery on my left (playing) hand last August. The hand is still not totally working right and I have had to learn new ways to play things, but managed a fair rendition of Clapton's acoustic "Layla". and i made a whopping $22 in tips.

Count me in for a Tacos with Tacos meet. I’m in Lodi but I’m ok with driving anywhere between Sacramento and Modesto for a meal.

That’s cool man! My truck is MGM and ya got a 3” ProComp lift and ProComp Vertigo wheels. I added a Tri-fold tonneau cover right after I got it. I’m planning on getting a C4 fab front bumper before the end of the year. Also looking to get some rock sliders soon.
