    Last Tacoma. I I'd was in the 80's. For those replacing their map lights
    this is how I did it. These lights were not made to be replaceable from the from the bulb facing position. Replace them from the back. Gently grab the windshield facing edge of the top console and tug down firmly. But gently. The whole thing will come down giving you access to the bulbs from the rear. You can then change out the bulbs.,similar to changing brake lights Oh, and if you want you can also ad soundproofing to your roof if you so wish. Having a hard time getting switches passed thru from engine to interior, suggestions appreciated.
