Has anyone ever heard of this? I've seen lca skids that bolt on. I want to fab my own plate and just weld the bitch on. I can't think of any problems this would cause.

    Thoughts?

Are you talking LCA cam alignment gussets or are you essentially trying to make your own LCA skid?

My own LCA skid. Just weld vs bolt on. Seems like it would add some unnecessary strength welded.
