Hello TW! I figured today was as good as any to give a brief review/driving experience with my Cooper AT3's!

    To start:
-My AT3's are 265/75r16's, C rated, and mounted on a 2003 Tacoma Prerunner.
-I live in Rochester NY, which is in Upstate NY, where we are known for our winters.
-I do light offroading, mostly in the fall, for hunting season and camping trips and a large amount of city and highway drivng.
-My truck is stock other than the wheels.
-Last the tires where mounted in fall (I believe November) of 2014 and have seen all kinds of weather.

    How do they perform?

Dry: On dry roads and terrain these tires feel smooth as butter. They don't make a huge amount of noise, and they don't "walk" side to side as bad as other tires I've driven with.

Wet: In the rain (and winter slush for that matter) these tires do very well. I feel extremely confident cornering, accelerating, as well as driving at high speeds on the highway.

Snow: As an Upstater, who drives a 4x2 pickup (feel free to laugh at me), this was my biggest concern when purchasing tires. Between an aggressive tread pattern and the Silica compound these tire are AMAZING in snow! This past winter was a record breaker for us in NY and I never felt more comfortable driving in snow than I have with the AT3's. They hold their own to snow tires and kept me from sliding or getting stuck all winter.

Mud: In mud these tires hold traction well, point the wheel where you want to go and they make it happen!

Overall I have no negative things to say about the Cooper AT3's. They outperform my expectations, which are very high, and look good doing it. They are also very affordable (I paid $798 including mounting and balancing) and have almost no noticeable wear. I would definitely recommend them!

As I stated before this was just a brief review that I felt would help in anyone else's tire choice, I know how hard the decision can be especially with the amount tires cost.

Please ask questions or comment, I am more than willing to give more feedback!

These were the last tires I got for my Gen 1 before I sold it, and now with my '13 I am finally due to replace the stock Rugged Fails. Hallelujah. I'm tempted to buy them again but torn between Michelin At2's and the BFG Rugged Terrains. The one complaint if I had to have one about the Coopers is that they seemed to hold small stones really well and fling them miles or even days down the road. But they were fantastic in the big snow I see in Northern NH. And lasted well and rode great.

I have noticed the small stones and put my mud flaps back on but the good qualities of the tires have made that a non-issue for me. Like I mentioned they were amazing in the snow, would highly recommend them over other brands.

exactlly what I'm running pleased with them also. Unless I go with 285s which I can't get an exact amount of inner fender I would have to cut. So I more than likely go with another set of 265s

Cooper makes some great tires for Tacoma's. I run the ATP's and they are amazing also. My next set might be the AT3's.

Just bought some and I really love them. 285/70/17; best part about it is that they only weigh 45lbs a piece

Installed Cooper At/3's (265/70R16) and ProComp 7089 Rims. Tinted front windows. Did the Fog Light Anytime mod. Did the tailgate mod. Added running boards. Adding sound Deadening from RAAMaudio. Replacing stock speakers with Polk Audio DB6501's.
I put 265/70R16's on my 2015 @ 600 miles. Love the tires and they look great.

They are noiser than the stock tires were, but I expected that. I recently up the tire pressure from 30 psi to 34. Gas mileage went up 2 mph and noise level went down. I haven't had a chance to drive them in snow, but if this winter is like last, I definitely will.

Thanks for this review. I've been going back and forth between AT3s and BFG Rugged Terrains. I'm leaning more and more towards the Coopers. I went to my local Peo Bous to have a look at the AT3s. The guy said they only had ATPs and Cooper was discontinuing the AT3s. I laughed and left. (Translation: "I have these ATPs and don't want to have to do a special order.")

I'm in stock TRD 17s and can't spring for wheels and tires. I'll probably order my 16" wheels and sit on them until time for new tires. Anyone know how long the stock Dunlops last?

I run the AT3's on my FJ and have been really happy with them. My only complaint is I wish I would have gotten 285's instead of 265's.

Just put a set of these on my Tacoma. Second set I have bought (first for a Ranger I sold when I bought my Tacoma). Great tires. Pretty aggressive look (in person) and quiet on the road. Good road manners.

I have nothing on them, other than they started making them a few weeks ago, they look really good compared to the original ones.. they also have several versions of it, one Xlt and if I remember something like rs maybe ? They are way to new to find info on the webs for them I'd imagine, give it time and I'm sure they will be in full production..

Damn! Those look sic! I'm currently running AT3's on my 4Runner and they've been great. I would love to get some of the new redesigns if they are just as functional.
