Hi everyone, lurker turned poster here!

I have a (new to me) 2001 base model 5 lug Tacoma with stock suspension and heavily worn shocks that badly need replacing. Since I'll be getting new shocks all round I thought of using this as an opportunity to perform a small lift on the truck (just to give more of a truck look/feel, not for offroading). I also want to keep it performing well, as this will be my daily driver.

I'm thinking of ordering the following parts, if you could let me know of any flaws in my logic that'd be great. Like I said, I'm trying to keep this somewhat on the cheap side and just want to lift it a little while keeping the stock wheels (15x6), also any opinion on new tires for this sized wheel?

    Front

V6 springs - https://www.amazon.com/Moog-81070-Coil-Spring-Set/dp/B002VK0AZW - I need new springs anyway and heard these lift the truck around 1 inch.

Shocks - Need help on this one, is it best to get standard sized shocks or longer shocks as recommended for the rear?

    Rear

    AAL - http://4x4.fatbobsgarage.com/toyota...a-leaf-lift-kit-2wd-5lug-1995-2004-p8505.aspx

Shocks - http://4x4.fatbobsgarage.com/mobile/fabtech-performance-twin-tube-shock-single-p32084.aspx I've heard these shocks are recommended over the standard length shocks when performing a rear lift is that correct?

I figured by getting the fatbob AAL, depending on how the lift turns out with the V6 springs, I have the option of adding the 1.5" poly spacer if I think more lift is needed to the front.

Thanks very much for your help!

You dont need extended length shocks with a spindle lift if u read the oem replacement section it will give part numbers for good front shocks or go with the fabtech shocks. I ran my stock shocks with a spindle and spacer lift
