Made it back to Colorado!

We got 3rd in class and 101 overall at the NORRA Mexican 1000.

This is SS02 Day 3 I'm driving and at the start of the video we are going 112mph.

Was a roof but it was equivalent of a stump

 

Man if you hit a roof, catching that much air must've tweaked that alignment

Edit: they also added construction (with Closure) to East side since they lost some guard rails to erosion.

 

yep that does suck. saw postings last summer on the way down to Durango. Headed that way this summer for a week of camping. Long detour to Gunnison.

One more area that'll be ruined due to the increase in traffic. There was nothing wrong with the road before they decided to pave it.

 

Have you been to Taylor park in the last several years? Long since ruined...

 

I have only been to that area once, and that was a year and a half ago... But I'm sure its better now than in a few years.

 

Absolute shitshow of campers and side by sides. Driving off trail, trashing the place, etc. Just too many people.

The illegal bypass made on Hancock pass last year below a snowbank might have been the worst I've ever seen. Like 200 yards of wet Tundra torn up, you'll be able to see that one for decades.

 

I prefer Lil Texas over Taylor Park, much better description of the inhabitants.

Lucky for me, they aren't much into Fly Fishing.
