    All i can say is dont put a downpayment on a lease. If you total it, then you likely lose your downpayment with nothing to show for it. Always do 0 down on leases.

    I hadn't considered the vehicle getting totaled. Ugh, another thing to debate over.

    I leased mine just because this was my first truck I've ever drivenso I'd have an option to get out after 3 years. With the Tacoma resale value it helps come buy out time because the truck will likely be worth more than the buy out at lease end
