Serpentine Belt went... changes all pully's and Belt, (have brand new belt tensioner for sale, missing pulley), ok just noticed that the AC compressor gear is being engaged when I turn the drfrost on... it also intermidtently stops spinning which inturn stops the belts free spinning pulley to stop spinning. Removed the AC 10 Amp fuse so it does not come on when I turn the defrost switch on...why would it do that? Also I took out the AC/Heater control assembly to check continuity on the AC push button to see if faulty, I put it back together and now the blower motor will not turn at all. any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that AC is always on for defrost. It's so it blows nice dry air to defrost the windshield. I'd search around and confirm.

the main problem is that the clutch of the ac comp stops the belt pulley from spinning so I beleieve the ac comp maybe going bad?

ac comp will come on only when a/c button is pressed or when defrost is used. if the pully is seizing up the compressor could be failing OR the bearing in the pulley could be going bad.

Yes you need to evac and recharge for changing the compressor, and the better vac you get on the system the cooler the system will blow, denso makes compressors, wouldnt be suprised if its a denso from the factory.
