20180420_093503.jpg I previously owned a 2012 4Runner Ltd for 4 years. In 2016 I opted for a 2016 Tacoma MT Sport. After 2 years I now find myself back needing an enclosed vehicle as I am heading back down to Arizona and hopefully Mexico again. If anyone has travelled that way, in my experience theft becomes a real deterrent for gear strapped in your pickup when you are in the desert.

Right away being back in this beautiful TRD, I miss the manual Transmission. The biggest difference is the power to weight ratio. What are your thoughts? I briefly played with the sport auto mode but was just a tease.

The Runner is heavy which I love and drives like a truck with some refinement. I am looking forward to exploring more differences as my sport Tacoma did not have Crawl control or a-trac or locking Diff. Also the fabric seats were not holding up well to dirt, dogs, and daily rubbing after 77000km. These new softtech seats are impressive.

Regardless with family and dogs, 3000-7000+km treks the 4runner is a must. Looking forward to it and love the new ride. IMG_20180430_210033_310.jpg
