I've searched and wasn't able to find exactly what I'm looking for here. I have a Blue Sea ML-ACR and was looking for mounting solutions under the hood. I had previously considered the Pelfreybilt Fuse Panel but don't intend on using it for its exact design. Has anyone put an ML-ACR on their fuse panel before? I'm thinking it might fit if I use one of the smaller Blue Sea Fuse Blocks, as I only really need 4-6 input/outputs under the hood.

Other suggestions are welcome as well, as I've seen using the current fuse box cover, and others with mounting solutions on the main starter battery. I'm not going with a traditional dual battery system, as I'm building an auxiliary house battery system that will go in the truck bed. I decided to go this route so I could remove it and go with higher capacity for longer trips. I went with two 6v golf cart style AGM's at 180 aH each. Thanks in advance!

Scratch this... I guess I didn't realize they sold a blank fuse panel at Pelfreybilt.... That solves the entire problem haha! I still wouldn't mind seeing mounts for the ML-ACR on it if anyone has done it.

I don't know what a Blue Sea ML-ACR does, but I used a sheet of Lexan and made a cardboard mold of what I wanted before making my final cut... that way YOU dictate what your mounting surface/location looks like!
Rough draft of my first proto-type below

That's actually a pretty good idea. That would achieve the same basic thing really. The ACR is a relay used to charge the auxiliary battery system after re-charging the starting battery automatically.

Yeah exactly. Pricing in parts for the Lexan would be somewhat similar ($30-60 depending on how big the sheet was) but making and knowing you did the work yourself.... priceless

Oh that's cool, I'm not at the point of a dual battery set up yet

Definitely, but with the ACR, a small fuse panel, and a breaker, I'm not sure if it could hold all of the weight. I might use lexan in my auxiliary battery box though to make a tray for the charge controller and fuse panel, so I'm really liking that idea!
