Random Question - 4Runner 4L Swap - Possible\Pros\Cons?

    Really more of a thought experiment and curious to hear what those with more knowledge think - not actually considering. Just curious from those with more knowledge - given so many complain about various items engine/trans related on the 3rd Gens... would it be possible to swap in the T4R 4L into our trucks? Would it bolt right into position? I have read many comment about the much better low end torque but the peak HP/TQ numbers seem similar and I cant seem to find a dyno graph to compare the curves.

    You can do anything but the cost versus benefit would not be worth it, a V8 swap would make more sense.
