Polishing in the heat sucks. And it doesn’t look like it’s helping much, possibly because I’m not being really all that patient lol

Winds in Palm springs are insane today and this stupid California 55mph towing law isn't helping me stay at a speed in my power band.

Not to encourage you to break the law or anything, but I don't think most people here in SoCal abide by the towing speed limit lol.

Yeah I see most trucks DGAF so I've been drafting fast ones. Making the most of my 7MPG towing on the cruiser haha

What @eon_blue said, speed limits are more of a suggestion in socal. You can go as fast or slow as you want just keep an eye out and chances are the cop will pass you anyways cause he wants to go faster.

I learned to drive a stick by practicing when my parents were at work. I would grab my dads keys and go out into the driveway and just practicing taking off using the least amount of throttle as possible. Most cars will take off if you let the clutch out slow enough without any gas. This gives you a really good feel for when you clutch starts to grab and you can start adding throttle to take off faster once you get this down. My dad only ever gave me one lesson on driving a stick, which was basically how to lay two fat strips doing a handbrake takeoff in my 90 Accord haha

When I was towing the 85 back I got pulled over for doing 65. In a 70. For going too fast. I hate California.

    What're you towing?

Yeah.. one thing you should know about California is the Speed Limit is only a suggestion. If the speed limit is 65, everyone is running 80.

Towing a 12x9 enclosed trailer with two Harley baggers in it. Cruiser is taking it like a champ but didn't like Grapevine being fully loaded. Hoping to make it to Sacramento or Redding before I get too tired. Also gas prices here are just slightly lower than I expected haha.

I could tow the truck, but it drives pretty well on it's own. No wheeling for me this week, but Moab is on the list for the end if the month.

Not sure where the pump is gonna be mounted. I tapped into the bottom of my WW reservoir but there’s nowhere to mount the pump below it. @1997tacomav6 whwre did you mount yours?

Not in LA. If your lucky you'll get it up to 65. Traffic is horrible out there now.

Well I polished the passenger bedside and tailgate (passenger door and cab were just repainted after my accident). At least it looks black and not all oxidized. Here is a before and after: D89B40C9-749D-449C-8012-48E4ED96D54E.jpgAA188AE6-7935-472B-9F73-A369F6DE1551.jpg
