Im running a 40PSI for DD. Gone down to 35 in cold weather and mpg was worse, Found that 40 is a good spot for max MPG. Im unloaded aswell

I have 265/75/16 E’s and inflate them to 45psi on road, and when airing down, I go no less than 25psi, (BFG says 20 psi is the minimum when driving more than 15mph) but I don’t go fast offroad either.

"Best" is subjective and depends a lot on your use.

If your weight tends to vary from passengers or cargo, I'd go with the adjusted 'engineered' PSI.
You can calculate it using the attached pdf; short answer is 37 psi for that size and load rating on our trucks.

If your weight tends to remain constant you can do a chalk test.
Follow the procedure described here; https://www.4wheelparts.com/tire-wheel-package-guide/tire-pressure-checker.aspx
