Window Tinting

Hi Everyone!

I recently traded my 2010 Access Cab TRD sport for a 2018 TRD Sport Double Cab 4 x 4.

I have had the truck for three weeks now, and I am trying to come up with a plan to make it my own. All I have done is add the all weather factory floor mats and a factory bed mat. Next few things I want to do is get a Cali Raised LED lower grill light bar and tinted windows . . . So here is my question; I am in San Diego and I know there are some laws in regarding window tints. Can anyone elaborate on these laws? I have only been to one tint shop and the guy basically said he only has one tint and buy at my own risk.

If anyone has any feedback and pictures to share of their truck; that would be awesome!

Welcome to tw. Most places that install tint can not go darker than there state law. When I was stationed in Delmar I had a place in riverside ca do mine. Don't know if they are there anymore this was back in 98.

 

Welcome to TW... not sure about your laws but in Illinois the front windows can’t be any more than 35%. I have 35% on my front and 5% on the others plus a 5% brow on my windshield.
