Seen plenty of information about people on here running 885s with 5100s and curious to know how much lift people are getting with Access Cabs running this setup. Seems like most guys with DCs are getting about 2.5 inches and SCs getting more towards 3. I'm assuming it'll fall somewhere right in between? I'm sure some people on here are running that setup...

Going to be pulling the trigger on a lift soon and can't decide between the 885s or the 887s. Hopefully this will help!

    Cheers!

    2.5.

DC 4x4s more like 2-2.25 without spacers.

Have you considered the Eibach 2.5" lift springs? Part number 521600. Here is my truck with Bilstein 5100s set at 0 up front and a 1.5" AAL in the rear.

Honestly haven't done much research on them but that picture is definitely the look that I am going for! Nice truck man! How are the springs holding up? Positives? Negatives? I'd love to hear some feedback on them and I am definitely not sold on the 5100 with 885 setup just yet.

Thanks! To be honest I don't have much to compare to. I had the factory TRD Off Road setup for a very short while. Then I had the Bilstein 5100s with the Off Road springs set at 1.75" and 2.5". I have had the current setup installed for 1.5 years out of the 2.5 years I've owned this truck so far. I really have no complaints. I mainly drive on forest roads that consist of loose gravel/dirt and have only recently driven on roads covered with larger rocks. I don't drive at high speeds either when I'm off road. The suspension absorbs the bumps and dips well in my opinion and even better when I air down to 20psi on my BFG KO2s. That's when I see the tires really start to conform to the terrain.

I was in the same shoes as you are before buying the Eibachs. The reviews pertaining to ride height were so inconsistent that I couldn't decide on any of the OME springs. I also added a 1/4"top plate spacer on the driver side to even out the height in the front.

Very nice truck. Im also thinking about getting the toytec/eibach springs with my 5100s. Right now im set at 1.75" and would like about another inch. Did you also get new UCA's? Im leaning towards the total chaos. You said you dont have much to compare to, but hows the ride with the eibachs?

Just a quick question. I am waiting to install Bilsteins 5100's all around, wheelers 1.5 AAL and Cooper A/T3. The rear end is 1.25" higher than the front. So I'm thinking setting the Bilsteins at 2.5 and with aal the rear of the truck should only be 1/4" higher. Any thoughts?

Ever considered a full Eibach package with the PTSL shocks(Pro-Truck Sport Level) and the Toytec Spring?

Just installed mine with the OE springs Thursday. I'm still new to the Tacoma modding game, and very embarrassingly didn't realize (until Friday morning) there was a lift spring option right at my finger tips.

I have light racing ucas. My caster numbers were low so I opted to get ucas. The ride is firm, but it is nothing new to me coming from lowered sports cars. It rides like a truck.

    Hey @yeos
Old thread, but I love your truck and I'm about to buy your exact setup.
Two years later, how is this setup working for you?
    Thank you!
