So, I ordered the 2016-2017 Tacoma TRD DCLB seat covers...my truck is a 2018(maybe this is where I messed up. Here's my issue.

The "apron" on the back of my Tacoma seat extends far down below the seat itself. The bartact seat cover, top portion, cannot connect to itself. Meaning, the Velcro on the back side of the seat cover can't connect to the Velcro on the front of the seat cover. My question, Does the front Velcro of the vertical seat cover connect to the top Velcro of the horizontal seat cover? or should the top seat cover connect to itself? I know I'm supposed to detach the apron to tie on the bottom seat covers, but I'm confused about what the vertical seat covers connect to. Does anyone else have this seat cover on their 2018? Are the 2017 and 2018 trd off road seats the exact same?

I don't have these seat covers, but mine were similar. In order for the front and back of the seat back to connect, you have to undo the zippers at the bottom on the back side, then kinda fold up the flappy bit and tuck it under the seat cover when you connect the front and back together.

Gotcha! Thank you. No issues with the OEM upholstery riding up, then?

Not that I've noticed. I had em on for about 8 months, took them off to wash and everything went back the way it was supposed to easily.

Mine do have buckles for that connection, so I'm able to cinch it down pretty tight. Not sure how the Velcro will do.

Seat covers unlimited. The cordura canvas ones, I've been pretty happy with them.
