What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

That's why I would feel so bad cutting it up to turn into a trailer. It was a rare combo that made it almost half a million miles.

That's last resort though. Still figuring out the whole title thing. It was so cheap I couldn't say no... I spent more on my suspension than I did on a working and running Tacoma... LOL

Have you seen the 3rd gen shitshow (surprising I know) CAI thread. Thing is hilarious, someone needs to the link the highlights in that thread, it's a conglomeration of morons that cannot come to terms with the fact that they all forgot what they're arguing about and none of them even understand why they're wrong/right which makes it more fun to pit them against each other

Train wreck threads are funny. There’s a Boy/Girl Scout thread right now that’s picking up steam as it circles the drain.

 

The E320 has an electrical issue with the cluster, the backlight for the infotainment screen is dead. I didn't want to replace the cluster so I drove over to my local Community College, pulled up the AllData database for the wiring schematics for the W210, and I just about wanted to die right there. It's microscopic, MB tried to combine every electrical system into one diagram, it's in black and white, and wires are coded with some kind of Hexadecimal system, it's just terrible. Did I mention it's all in German?

Those darn Germans...

I'll be honest, I chose the Tacoma as my first car over the E320 only because I'm so tall I would hit my head on the ceiling of the E320 when I was driving it. The Tacoma has so much more headroom.

Has anyone replaced a leaf to combat taco lean?

 

I'll take that over my 22re with a manual. 100ish horsepower is the definition of dangerous in 70 mph speed zones. But what takes the cake was my dads old Suzuki Samurai with its 4 banger-manual setup. Like 70 horsepower with a tailwind going downhill. Absolutely terrifying, probably why my mom never drove it. But I still wish he wouldve kept it. One of my dream cars is a SAS'd Samurai with a built Chevy 4.3L out of an S10. There's a company in Tampa that makes the kits, all I need is a Samurai and a blank check lol.

 

Also what are people replacing there body mounts with?

 

She likes Tacomas and her name is Sara so there's a good chance she's hot. It's not like her name is Bobby Ann and she put a note on an S10.
