New here, I'm wanting to do a small lift on my truck, I've seen several people using billstein 5100s all around with a 1.5" AAL. Any disadvantages to using a 1.5" Block in the rear? I've been told that using AAL will stiffen up the rear end quite a bit. Also will this setup make my truck sit level or very close to level with the struts at their highest setting? At the most i will do mild off roading, nothing crazy.

4 inch lift - complete blackout, n-fab step bars, Black Horse bull bar, 20 inch light bar, anytime fog lights, added led day running lights, Fuel wheels and Falken Wildpeak tires ,custom fit seat covers, Gatorback mud gaurds
Many, many options and choices. Biggest factors are what will you be doing with your truck and do you want to spend 2 or 3 hundred or you could spend 2 to 5 or $6K

The lift blocks will be fine if you aren't going to abuse it too much. I think what most people on here believe is why would you cheap out on your 40k truck. AAL will be only slightly more expensive than a block but a lot better in terms of ride quality

Mostly just wanting a lift, but i was pretty opposed to putting spacers on the struts. Light trail riding at the most.

I have my Billstein 5100s on the way. Trying to figure out whats the best way to go to lift the back to sit level with the front as the 5100 shocks wont add any height by themselves.

If you just want your truck to set level and no serious off-roading then I would just put a block back there.
