    Yea I hear you. I hate to title myself as a "big whig PM" but I have been doing this going on 12years, and will not be easily replaced. Their conversation yesterday was what if we give you title change and match comp offer, and have scheduled 3 meetings for today. I told them I did not resign for you guys to fight to keep me.. I resigned for better opportunity.

    I totally get that man, especially in the PM rankings its easy to get hit with the ceiling. My immediate boss has been a Project Engineer and has been wanting to get up to Project Manager the whole time he has been here. He is about to hit 5 and said he will address the issue if something doesn't get thrown his way. With his varied experience he has def proven to fit ALOT of jobs for our team and will be missed if that time comes. So I def see where having that bullshit ceiling being a big factor after the proving grounds of one's career are over and its about the real growth and new opportunities.
